Uncles & Aunts at Large (Edmonton Area) Society

October is Renovation Month in Canada, and we are pleased to have members of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Edmonton Region (CHBA-ER) take this opportunity to give back to the local community.   This years' committee has selected Uncle & Aunts at Large (Edmonton Area) Society.  Uncles & Aunts at Large provide mentor services for children.  Through this organization, volunteers offer companionship, mentoring and friendly support to children ages 6 to 18 who are from single family homes.  Their program would not be possible without all their volunteers as seen in the posted pictures.

On October 2 & 3, the Renovator Committee will be completing some upgrades within their facility, so it is more functional for the staff and children.  If you would like to get involved and are interested in donating materials, volunteering, or learning more about the Renovation Project, please contact Amanda Lwanga at amanda@lingerdesignstudio.com , if you would like to make a cash donation, please contact Marcia McDonald, Government Relations Manager, at mmcdonald@chbaedmonton.ca.
