Habitat for Humanity Restore's Mom's Canadian Dream

EDMONTON - Maria Tshibwabaq never thought she would own a home of her own after her husband died.
But on Wednesday, she and three of her five children tearfully accepted the keys to their first home at the Habitat for Humanity 20th anniversary ceremony.
“Ever since I came to Canada, I never dreamed I would be able to own my own home,” Tshibwabaq said. “When I lost my husband, I lost my dreams.”
