Are you looking to attract young skilled trades people and to recognize those currently working for you?

If so, CHBA’s campaign in partnership with BuildForce Canada to help promote skilled trades careers in new home construction and renovation to youth and parents can help you meet your goals.

The campaign’s main theme is:  “Check Out What I Built Today”, and features short videos made by young people working in the trades through B   uildForce Canada’s YouT ube Channel, and their website.  CHBA will also promote the videos through its own website and social media tools once we have a good collection.

North Ridge Development Corporation from Saskatchewan submitted the first residential video and many more examples are required to help promote trades careers and member companies through this ongoing campaign!

How To Get Involved Today

  • Get a young apprentice or tradesperson working directly for your company to make a short video on a smart phone, following the step-by-step instructions.
  • Submit the raw video(s) along with signed permission forms to Pamela Feeny at (see below attachments for all the details).
